One of our customer mailbox servers is currently offline. Affected customers are not able to access their email via POP, IMAP, or Webmail at this time. We’re working to restore service and will update this post when we have more information.

2013-04-02 21:15 UTC: the cause of the outage was a redundant power failure in the data center that houses mailbox7. Power has been restored and the server has been rebooted, and it is now running an automatic filesystem check.

2013-04-02 21:25 UTC: the filesystem check is 30% complete. We roughly estimate another 2-3 hours for it to complete, but it may take longer.

2013-04-02 22:07 UTC: the filesystem check is 48% complete.

2013-04-02 22:51 UTC: the filesystem check is 73% complete.

2013-04-02 23:19 UTC: the filesystem check is complete, and mailbox7 is back online.
